The design acknowledges the building's heritage and original prestigious architecture, restoring the external façade to its former glory and completes the original blueprint for the building using traditional Portland stone and brick. The result is truly unique building with superb prominence and stature that can offer occupiers prestigious office accommodation that is flooded with natural light.
Over 80% of the existing building structure has been retained and two thirds of the existing building façade. As a result, fewer materials have had to be imported to the site resulting in a reduced resource and energy usage.
A BREEAM Management and Operation preassessment has been undertaken which confirms the the building can achieve an "Excellent" rating under such an assessment. |
